Ride to K2 in Bay City

Event date:
Sun, 03/15/2026 - 8:00am to 1:45pm

We’re going to the K-2 Steakhouse in Bay City today. We’ve gone there a number of times, but it’s always been good.

We’re meeting at 8:00 am at the Pit Stop on Hwy 59 at Williams Way, one exit past the Grand Parkway. (If you’re coming from the north, get off the freeway at Williams Way, turn left at the light, go under the bridge, and it’ll be on the right.)KSU is 8:30.

The K-2 Steakhouse was founded in 1981 in Bay City. They are known for serving only the best steaks, chops, and chicken. They’ve got great burgers, too!

We’re hitting the backroads to get there. It’s about 150 miles and we should get there about noon including a gas / rest stop near  El Campo, about 110 miles into the ride.

Once we leave the restaurant, we’ve got about 50 miles back. The ride ends when we get to the intersection of Hwy 59 / I-69 and Hwy. 36 in Rosenberg. That’s a much more direct route than we’ll take getting there and is only about 50 miles

IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON RIDING, PLEASE click the RSVP tab at the top of the page SO WE HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW MANY RIDERS THE ROAD CAPTAINS NEED TO ACCOMODATE!
